COLDS was an IRS initiative focused on making it easier for people to find the information they need on IRS.gov.

The COLDS project leads wanted to create an e-book to summarize the initiative, and they wanted the piece to work as both a presentation tool and as a stand-alone piece.

When writing the piece, I used succinct, high-level messages that would come alive in presentation settings. Alongside this highly visual text, I included more detailed information that would be best approached by those reading the e-book on their own.
